I love freshly baked
breads, pastries and desserts and this is one of the best
bakeries I have found so far. The quality of the items are
outstanding, the items are as tasty as they look and best of
all, the prices are fair.
The sandwiches, which are
all made with their delicious Ciabatta bread, are creative and
oh so good while the salads are fresh and exciting. My
favorite sandwiches include the grilled vegetable Pannani and
the Turkey with Cranberry spread while the best salads are the
classic Cobb salad and the unusual Spinach salad with candied
pecans, blue cheese and mandarin oranges wedges. From the
dessert list, you must try the giant Caramel Dutch Apple Tart,
the tangy Lemon Custard Tart and the beautiful Fresh Fruit
Tart. For those trying to stick on a Low Carb diet, don’t
forget to try their first class low carb bread.
The Local Baker & Café is
only open for breakfast and lunch, so come early for the best
selections. The can also create special cakes for almost any
occasions.
