Description of Restaurant:
The
Deli restaurant sits sheepishly on the corner of Archibald
and Foothill Blvd next to a Liquor store. This popular
sandwich shop features some of the best mouth-watering
sandwiches in the area and has been voted as having the
Best Sandwiches on many occasions over the years by the
locals. Most of the meats are make fresh on the premises
and the variety of ingredients and sandwiches are
outstanding. The restaurant is decked out with oak woods
while a real working electric train circles high above the
restaurant for all to enjoy. The service is friendly, the
sandwiches are fresh and large. I don’t think you can find
a better sandwich at these prices. |

There is nothing better
than a big juicy home made sandwich and the Deli certainly
does it better than the rest. I love the fact that the roast
beef is freshly made daily and the flavors of the sandwiches
are terrific. My favorites include the piled high Turkey,
Avocado and Bacon Sandwich, the uniquely different French
Onion Steak Sandwich, the #10 Combo sandwich and virtually all
of the other roast beef combination sandwiches. The best way
to describe this place is "yum yum". Don’t forget to try the
great Kosher pickles and pickled Chile peppers as well as the
Muffalata relish mix that is a must try on your sandwich. |
