Description of Hargren’s Candies
Opened in 1957, Hargren’s Candies is a small candy store that sells a large variety of hand-dipped chocolates (over 96 kinds) and over 500 varieties of hard and specialty candies. Halgren’s only uses Belgian chocolates and the hand-dipped candies are made in small quantities to insure freshness and quality.

Some of more unique items that are created here include the hand dipped fresh chocolate strawberries, the popular cherry cordials and the magnificent 2 ½ pound hand dipped caramel, chocolate and (nuts if you want them) apples on a stick. The apples contain 3 layers of chocolate as well as the caramel and can last up to 10 days if refrigerated and sealed. Each apple is enough to feed 3 to 4 people and is the best that I have ever had. The rich & creamy chocolate Truffles are also a must for those who appreciate the richness that high quality chocolate offers.
